Listed below are some of my recent Penguin/NAL titles.  I'm hopeful to get the rest of them up soon.  And, with gratitude to this digital age I'm going to put up two of my earlier novels being prepared now.  Both novels were sold for movies, one for a six-part mini-series to CBS and one for a Broadway musical.  Look for Love and Glory and Swing Sisters on this page soon.

Swing Sisters

As one New York reviewer said: "You can hear the music on every page."

It's 1937, the Great Depression, but also the beginning of the Swing Era of Big Bands...and women wanted to play the music: singers, drummers, pianists, trumpet players were forming all-girl bands to hit the ballroom circuit just like Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey.

Ex-burlesquer Rita Ramone forms the Swing Sisters and the group moves from smoky hotel ballrooms to the cavernous sound stages of Hollywood. This is their story: Sara on piano, recovering from a painful divorce, former Vaudeville headliner Roz, on drums, hiding a secret desire, Tonia, playing a New Orleans trumpet, who can never share her forbidden love, and beautiful singer Lovey Anderson, aching for her lost child and torn between her dangerous passions for two men.
